Budget & Beyond

There are many of you who enjoy the look of The Foundry...well, they just got back to me regarding cost. They gave me the rental price and I was thinking it would be half of what they quoted me. So, unless people want to pay ~$90/ticket, I'm thinking we should go another route: Urban Studio in Portland.

  2. I like this venue, but there's not a lot of seating options. Their website says they have 4 couches and 18 bar stools. Is that really going to be enough for 150-300 people?

  3. They have tables and lots of outside space...but this place is out - way too much $$. The lady I spoke with was a bit deceiving in regards to their prices. A couple McMenamins' sites and I are in discussion :) Thank you for the suggestion, Bonnie.

  4. Hey all! Just a thought on location, you had previously mentioned the Antonio ballroom in Canby. I happen to have close ties to the owner and I run the meat market across the street (the old fishers Meats) I think that it would suit the budget greatly to have a good discounted rate on a venue and some awesome hometown food from me! Maybe like a luau style whole pig?? Donated of course! That could leave more budget for cocktails and side dishes?? Not sure if that sounds like anything possible but I thought I'd throw it out there! Let me know! -Austin
