Budget & Beyond

There are many of you who enjoy the look of The Foundry...well, they just got back to me regarding cost. They gave me the rental price and I was thinking it would be half of what they quoted me. So, unless people want to pay ~$90/ticket, I'm thinking we should go another route: Urban Studio in Portland.

Picnic & a Cocktail

Let's plan on a midday family picnic followed by a cocktail party in the evening. I've been looking at places from Woodburn to Vancouver that can accommodate 300 attendees:

Here are some event space I've found that sound appealing: Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, The Foundry at Oswego Point in LO, Postlewaits in Canby

If the interest of turn out is closer to 150, here are some of my favorites: DeSoto in Portland, Hayden's Grill in Tualatin, Antonia Ballroom in Canby

Child Care During Event

If we were to have a cocktail type of event, here is an option for child care: Creative Childcare Solutions  After reading through their contract, they are well versed with childcare and children of all ages during events such as weddings, reunions, etc.

One And A Half

Hello all,

We are only one and a half years away from our 10 year reunion. Which means planning will be under way in just a few months. Let's aim for a fun get-together where everyone feels welcome.  What would you like to do for the reunion?
